C & E Learning Academy is a brand new, quality daycare that seeks to attract parents that value their children’s growth cognitively and physically.
Our hope is to be viewed as a school that facilitates the lifelong journey of creativity, discovery, and imagination. Our quality care and education are focused on elements of academic achievement, entertainment, and personal growth. Our hope is that memorable teaching moments from C & E Learning Academy will stay with our students forever. The goal of C & E Learning Academy is to provide a nurturing environment where our students are instilled with a love of learning and are surrounded by loving, caring adults who will help support their personal growth.
The school is a licensed center which operates from 6:00am to 6:00pm. The school is staffed with skilled leaders who are well qualified and have many years of experience. The staff is responsible for the daily care and education of our students, providing nutritious meals, exploring nature, possessing knowledge of first aid and cleanliness, and to provide the best environment for every student who walks through our doors.
Our Story
C & E Learning Academy was established in August of 2019. During that time I, Quaeisha Oglesby the owner, was employed at a Pediatric office as a Medical Assistant. Coming across many patients of various ages I noticed there was a lack in the physical and emotional development of the younger children based upon the parents' results on the developmental sheet every month/year. Many of these children attended childcare but were lacking the support they needed. Other’s did not attend childcare due to financial reasons and trust. As I began to gather a plan to open I also did a questionnaire of the patients/families and found that they were seeking childcare and/or someone they could trust. Since being open C & E Learning Academy has bridged over 1 class of 4 students who 3 of the 4 went to Pre-kindergarten and the other Kindergarten and has been at the top of their class. There were 3 students who bridged over knowing 65 sight words and 1 student knowing 95 sight words. Each student knew how to communicate well, write their name, recognize letters and numbers, and were able to read. Our Kindergarten student who bridged over was the top reader in his class this past school year. We have had a waiting list of 30 plus since 2019 with 6 month updates.
